Your chronic illness doesn’t define you, you do.

Gentle support for women with chronic illness or high sensitivity live confidently on their terms

Hi, I’m Rachel and sometimes I work from my couch or bed.

This is usually part where you learn a little about me and such, right?

Here are a few tidbits & a note from me to you.

  1. I’m a writer & teacher by training - that’s what my degrees and career experience are in. I started Capturing Your Confidence as a blog for writers, but it’s always been about building confidence, so it evolved naturally.

  2. I’m convinced that creativity is a direct connection to our soul. It’s not just something to do, it can relax, heal, and excite you all at once.

  3. This is one of the only pictures I could find where I was laying down. It’s not flattering, but I picked it on purpose because it’s real. We can’t all be sitting at clean desks when we want to be creative, right? (Most stock photos seem to be at pristine, minimal desks that are blindingly white…what’s up with that?) It works a little differently if you like color or you’re messy…oh, and usually exhausted or in pain (or both).
